Garlic mustard eradication project sign. Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) is native to Europe and Asia. In North America it is an invasive species which tends to crowd out native plants in woodland habitats. Photographed in May 2018 near Ontonagon, Michigan, USA, in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.
