A camouflaged caterpillar of the grass emerald moth (Pseudoterpna pruinata) resting on a spiked leaf of gorse, which is one of the food plants for the larvae of this moth. The grass emerald moth is a member of the geometridae family and is usually found in heath and moorland type habitats. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
