A dark green fritillary (Argynnis aglaja) feeding on a scabious flower in a limestone grassland habitat. The dark green fritillary is a member of the Nymphalidae family and is found across the palearctic region. It is usually on the wing From June to August. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in July.
