Caption

This is the first visible-light image of an exoplanet orbiting Fomalhaut (about the size of 3 Jupiters), a star in the constellation Piscis Australis. The small planet has been named Fomalhaut b, and is about 10.7 billion miles from Fomalhaut, and approximately 1. Kuiper Belt in our solar system. The image was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.
