Troop of ring-tailed lemurs (Lemur catta) on the forest floor. Ring-tailed lemurs are social animals, living in troops of as many as 30 individuals. Troops are matriarchal, with females having higher social status, and in the mating season both males and females take multiple partners. It is the most terrestrial of the lemurs and is omnivorous and opportunistic. Filmed in Berenty Reserve, Madagascar.
