Space telescope image of the Ghost of Jupiter (NGC 3242) dying star, showing concentric rings around the object, the result of material being periodically ejected in the star's final death throes. This dying star lies around 1400 light-years from Earth in the constellation Hydra. Imaged by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope.
