Caption

Medical visualization of the cardiovascular problems caused by obesity. Too much fat in the body damages your blood vessels. About three quarters of obese people die of cardiovascular disease. Obesity can cause coronary artery disease (stiff, clogged arteries of the heart can lead to angina and heart attack), stroke (clogged brain arteries and blood clots caused by plaque can lead to a stroke), and plaque build-up (hard, fatty deposits build up inside the vessel wall, stiffening it and blocking blood flow).
