Caption

Nickel reacts with an acid. Nickel metal (Ni) reacts with 5M sulfuric acid (H2SO4) in a test tube. The reaction produces hydrogen gas (H2) bubbles: Ni + H2SO4 -> NiSO4 + H2. This is an example of a single displacement reaction.
