Shunak crater, satellite image. The Shunak meteor impact crater is situated in the south-eastern part of Qaraghandy Province, Kazakhstan. It is thought to have been formed around 45 million years ago, during the Eocene epoch and measures approximately 2.8 kilometres in diameter.
