Molecular Art Of David Goodsell

David Goodsell paints the invisible. Combining his expertise in molecular biology with an artists vision, he able to illustrate the biochemical complexities of life inside a cell. This feature highlights some of his extraodinary work, including: a larger than life macrophage devouring an invading bacterium, a cancer cell marching through a thick forest of collagen, and the HIV virus, travelling silently through the bloodstream undetected by the immune system.
