Great White Sharks

It is one of the ocean’s most feared predators, eating swimmers and terrifying cinema audiences. Yet the Great White shark’s reputation is unfounded. It attacks just 10 people a year, and most survive. The difference between fact and belief illustrates how little we know about Great Whites: where they mate, how many there are, or how and where they spend much of their year. So scientists are observing these elusive creatures - with intriguing results.
