Tangled

In Alzheimer’s disease, the formation of ‘plaques’ and ‘tangles’ is thought to contribute to the degradation of nerve cells in the brain. Alzheimer's disease accounts for most cases of senile dementia. Symptoms include memory loss, disorientation, personality change and delusion. It causes immense distress and affects both the patient and the family.
